Remember Admin Login Info

Anyone have a simple workaround for not having to re-enter the email address and possibly the password every time you log in to Admin on the same computer? It gets pretty annoying for those of us with longer email addresses, and I'm sure that someone with a lot more PHP coding skills than myself has figured a way around it (and please--- no lectures on the security basis for having to enter it every time!). Thanks in advance for your help!

Just have your browser remember the login info, then when you type the first letter, select the email address from the list of selections and it will auto-fill in the password. Easy enough.

Note: you may have turned this feature off. Check your setting/prefernce etc.. if it is not autofilling in forms for you.

You can also do a search on this forum for something like "admin time out now i'm mad". On that thread you can easily change your store to increase the time it takes your admin section to forget you (like, if there is no activity in 30 minutes, ask for login again, you can change it to 5 hours)

Or create an additional Top Admin with whatever information you like...lots of solutions here.

Thanks to everyone who replied with suggestions. I've tweaked my IE settings as suggested and now just have to type the first letter before the "auto-fill" function kicks in.
