osCMax Custom template OS03C9628TM

Hi,

I'm searching for a suitable template to suit my new store and found this (OS03C9628TM ) to be close to what I'd like as a base for customization.

However, in the live test, the categories menu behaves differently from the normal oscmax/osc in the sense that when you click on a category the menu will change to display only all the sub category of the selected category.

Is it possible to change it back via the admin panel (or otherwise) so that it will EXPAND the chosen category (showing the sub category indented) while still showing all the main level categories (ala the original)?

This is controlled by the categories so you could just edit that file. But on a side note you will still have the main categories available on the header bar.

I kinda figured it's controlled by categories.php which assembles the data and then passes it to boxes.tpl.php to be formatted and displayed.

I do have some problems fully understanding the code now that oscdox (wiki part) is down though. Any tip for me? or point me somewhere I can read it up?
