Need a mod for 2 things...

Hello,
I have been a long time user of oscmax. I have done more installs and custom designs for customers in the past then anything BUT I have a current customer that needs 2 mods that I don't see that's available. I have searched through 17 pages of postings and can't find anything. Below is what I need:

1. I need to be able to add custom fields to each product page. Example: When a customer clicks a product, they can write in a text box what they want to say on a holiday card. That information will be captured and sent to the store owners email address so they know what to place on the customers card.

2. Customers need to be able to upload images. This store is for a custom holiday, greeting card store where people can customize the card as far as what they want to put on it text wise and a photo(s)

This information needs to be sent along with the customers order details.

Please assist me in finding a mod that will work for oscmax V2. This is very important!

1. There is no mod available that will do this for osCMax 2. It would require custom coding (a lot of it at that).

Your easiest route would be to use oscmax v1.7 and patch it against the known security holes. It has this feature (text box input fields for products).

2. Image upload should be an easy mod found in the osCommerce.com contributions section. Again, this will not work in osCMax v2, since it requires OTF, which does not work in osCMax v2.

why not just modify the Add Comments About Your Order text box in checkout_shipping.php and just change the box title. letting customers know what to say in the card they have just ordered. with image upload I not sure about that simple php upload image script to upload image to a directory on the server i would place this on customer account page so users have to login to get to image upload.
