Default Admin Login issue...

(New to osCMax...OSC store online tho)

I'm converting to osCMax. I just did a fresh install...looked clean.

When I login to the Admin with the default install login, admin@localhost.com, etc. I get NO error but the login screen just refreshes???? If I enter in an incorrect user/password, I do get the error i am expecting but the default login doesn't do anything. help.

install is localhost on an XP machine, PHP 4.3 (so it's not the PHP 5 issue I've been reading about)

again... help.

Thanks in advance!!!

P.S. sorry if i missed the forrest b/c of all the trees! I truly searched on this one...

Regards,

Default RE: Admin Login issue...

I figured it out!!! jeeez!

my tmp directory, used to store session ids, needed to be created ALL the way back in the root drive directory...like C:\tmp\

Question: Is there an advantage to saving session ids in "files" or in "mySQL"? Thanks in advance!
