Default Firefox OK, but IE is hosed!

Okay, so I got my new template up and running today, swapping out for the old one that I had been using. Here's where it gets interesting...on one particular browser/platform, the graphics are b0rked.

Firefox/Mac OS X: Fine.
Internet Explorer/Mac OS X: Fine.
Firefox/Windows XP: Fine.
Internet Explorer/Windows XP: Graphics are broken. (If you do a Get Info on the graphic it shows as "http:///filename").

Anyone have any ideas on this one?

No directory like .../catalog/...

Are you installed in root or a directory?

It was the <BASE HREF=""> tag sitting in the template that was killing it for IE. Problem, well, nuked.
