Default How to migrate from oscommerce to osc max 1.7

I built a site using oscommerce 2.2. How can I migrate everything to osc-max?

Default RE: How to migrate from oscommerce to osc max 1.7

This is not something for the inexperienced. If you are fairly skilled, it is not a big deal.

I suggest the following:

Do a fresh osCMax install. Use the stylesheet from your existing shop and copy it to the template dir of your choice. Then, edit the existing template to match your site. When it matches beautifully, time to make a copy of the existing database. Then run MySQLDiff on the copy. You will get the sql output that will allow you to upgrade the copy db to the osCMax format. Run the sql on the copy. Then, export the data from the customer, address, and order tables. Import that data to the new osCMax database.
