1.7 Install How come when I try to install a freshly unzipped copy of 1.7 I get the following error instead of giving me the install screen?
1046 - No Database Selected
select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

It means you haven't completed the installation process. Did you run /catalog/install/ And if you did something happened and you must manually enter it in includes/configure.php. But it sounds like you never ran the installation program at catalog/install/
