Default Problem in running protx_form from oscmax but not oscommerce

I have hit a problem when running protx_form module from oscmax and yet protx_form module works with oscommerce.

I have installed protx form module (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/...1/search,protx) onto both a clean osmax 1.7 site and a clean oscommerce site (by which I mean that I have not modified either in any way).

The protx form module will function with when run from the oscommerce site but not from the osmax site.

The protx module is setup in both cases for testing:
    Credit Card Test Info:

    CC#: 4444333322221111
    Expiry: Any

    Enable Protx Form Module
    True

    Merchant ID
    TestVendor

    Password
    testvendor

    Transaction Currency
    Any Currency

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    default

    Sort order of display.
    0

    Test Mode
    true
    -------------

When I attempt to use the protx module from the oscmax site, I get the following error:
"If you supply an Address field, you must also supply the Post Code for that address." (error=FRM114.1)

I have searched various forums and by google but have not found any solution.

Any ideas as to why or solutions to implement?

Thanks for your input into this.

    Best,

    Bob

    Default

    I have resolved the problem.

The weight of the product was set to zero. So osCMax viewed it as a virtual product. So the shipping page (checkout_shipping.php) was bypassed during the checkout process.

And this probably meant that no shipping delivery address was forwarded to protx. So the protx site created an error message.

Once I set the product weight to 1.0, the shipping page appeared, and the checkout process went smoothly through to the protx website. The fact that the shipping address and the invoice address were the same does not appear to make any difference. protx just seems to expect a shipping address, any shipping address.

This could cause a dilemma for those who want to use the protx payment service for virtual products such as downloads and gift vouchers and do not want the shipping address page to appear during the checkout process.

Probably the least involved solution is to amend the protx_form module so that it can operate without a shipping address in the case of virtual products.

    Best,

    Bob
