Cannot use language when updating product name or descriptio

Hi all,

I've looked over the forum and couldn't find this question.

I'm using MS2-MAX and have run into a problem trying to add Spanish language descriptions to my products.

I can update the categories but not the products - with one exception. I have a single category with a single product in it that I have not used EasyPopulate to create. It let's me update fine. The other two categories do not let me update the products. When I do the "Preview" option, I can see the changes, but when I "Update" and check again, the changes are gone.

I don't know if I've got a permissions problem (though I don't know how it could be working on one product in one category and not the others).

I did notice that I was getting a "warning: no file uploaded" message when I chose the "update" option from the product preview screen. I searched the forums and found that it was a problem with the images. I commented out the "new_product_preview" section in order to skip image uploading just in case that was the problem. The error went away, but I'm still unable to add product names in spanish.
Any thoughts?

I noticed the EasyPopulate fields for language ID's 2 and 3 and updated the Spanish text that way.

Hi all,

I've gotten the products translated into Spanish, and have uploaded them via Easy Populate, but I have not been able to add the Categories in Spanish.

I've got 3 categories, with around 20 subcategories each. Inside those subcategories are products.

The problem is that I can't seem to add Spanish names through Admin. I enter the category name, preview it (all looks well) and then "Update". If I immediately edit the category again, the spanish text is gone.

Has anyone else run into this?
