Default List of missing files for german language support

Hi there,

i've just set up oscmax and got a problem which lots of other non-english people also have and already discussed in this helpful forum: the missing german translation files (the spanish and french fellows have a similar problem). this is a pretty frequent problem and it is also not trivial, because if one's browser's primary language is not english, the frontend layout is completely messed up and the backend simply does not work at all. this is very contraproductive because it gives a bad impression of oscmax to new users.
what i want to do here is to provide a list of missing german files which can initially be copied from the english version to have at least a working frontend/backend and can be translated afterwards. if someone - including me of course - already did or somewhen will do this translation it would be helpful and in consence with the oscmax guys, i guess, to pass these files to a packager or QoS dude of oscmax so that this issue will be solved somewhen.

I have been asking for help on this for about 2 years now, with no response at all. There are over 6000 members here, and not a single person has offered to help translate those files. I simply do not have time to mess with it. I support english, because that is the only language I speak. I have included the standard language files, but there are many that need translation. I am aware of the missing files for the non-english languages, but will not be spending any time on fixing the problems.

On the other hand, if someone provides a language pack fix for oscmax, I would be happy to include it. As I said earlier, I have been waiting for about 2 years, so I won't hold my breath...

Hello Michael,

I have just finished translation of all language files to Dutch. At the moment I am re-reading all of them to see if I did not make any errors. Please let me know how I can provide those files for you to include them...

With kind regards,
Edze

Hello puchalke,

I also missed some language files in german and spanish. I simply copied the original english files and pasted them into the german and spanish directories (not all files of course, just the ones I was missing). At least, this way I will not get any error messages. Translation into Spanish is no problem at all for me, my knowledge of German, however, is not that good. If you need any files in Spanish, please let me know.

Regards,
Edze

It is simple to GIVE us a File - POST a message and use the "ADD AN ATTACHMENT" button.

Please provide a working Layout with ALL the LANGUAGE specific files needed (only the files modified/changed/added).

Thanks.
