Sample Catalog Data for MS2-MAX 1.7

I'm new to osCommerce (just started last week), and I really liked the sample catalog data in the MS2 2.2 download I installed. Now, I have decided to use MS2-MAX 1.7 instead, but I would like to have some sample data to play with as I try to learn my way around the system.

The installlation options gave me the option to select installation of sample data into the database, but there's nothing there. Then, when I started looking through the files included in the download, I couldn't find a SQL file anywhere that had sample data in it. I tried to import the SQL file that comes with the MS2 2.2 download but that messed everything up.

Anyone know where I can get the sample catalog data for MS2-MAX 1.7?

Max does not come with sample data. It was removed by popular demand. The part of the installer that asks if you want it is outdated and remains from the original osCommerce. We use the original osCommerce install program, but changed the sql file that the installer uses.

Is there any way to add the sample data once MAX is installed?

I have the SQL from MS2 MAX 1.5 b4 they took out the sample data.

Did any of the table structures change between 1.5 and 1.7 such that importing that data into 1.7 would cause any problems?
