Category index box contents disappear

Okay, I need some help bad. I've been working on a template, it's called minimal. I wanted to see what it looked like in my site as a test. Keep in mind that the template isn't done by a long shot but that shouldn't have an effect on what is going on with the category index menu box.

The store works great when I go directly to it http://www.groonesworld.com/store
The category index works as it should, but when I add the link to the store to my java menu and insert it into my frames the category index menu disappears. You can go to http://www.groonesworld.com click on Shops and then click on Store. You will see that the index list menu has disappeared.

Any ideas?

edit: I turned on cache and the category box worked BUT all my fonts went hoooie and didn't look right at all. Any ideas?

Edit: I was mistaken, it doesn't work with Cache turned on. It also doesn't work with other templates so it's definately not a template problem. Can anyone assist me?

Well, I found that the coolmenu didnt work and niether does the dhtml menu. The text menu works just fine. I would really like to use the dhtml menu as it is much more attractive.
