Default Insert Image from Main Page and other pages

I am tring to upload an image from within the text box and get this error everytime "file pic.jpg could not be created.Can someone help pse.

Try naming the file without spaces, eg file_pic.jpg

How about chmoding the images dir to 777.

Make the dir writable. All CHMOD does is set permissions. Do the same with windows by right clicking the folder and unchecking the read only box.
