Default Moving Database to new server.

Moving the database to a new server.

I have upgraded my current server and OSCMax to the current versions.
    I have upgraded from RedHat7 to RedHat 9. Upgraded OSCMax1.5 to 1.5.5.

I made a backup of my old OSCMax1.5 database, and restored it to my new server and OSCMax1.5.5, and now i get link errors.

This is the link that is generated and does not work.

This is a link that does work.

for some reason the question mark and the equals were both replaced by the slash.

Any ideas what could have caused this? Could this be from the database? When I use easypopulate everything works fine. But If I use easypopulate I loose all my customer information. Something I don't want to loose.

    Are there any options?
    Any Ideas?

    Hmmm,
    1. Check if "Search Engine Safe URL's" is on.
That would potentially do that - "the question mark and the equals were both replaced by the slash."
    2. Is the version of php the same on both servers.
    3. EasyPop only updates products / descrips etc. It does not touch customer info & does not delete old prods.??
Trying savng your old database as the pure SQL option & inserting it again.

Switching the Search Engine Safe URL's to false worked.

Strange I never had that problem with the other server though.

    Thank you very much.
