Default Ok - This may sound basic

Hi ..

Ok - so i've got my store up ... changed the template, got the currency in GBP ... but how the hell do I change the opening message on the index.php page .. where it says wellcome to MSC Max from AAbox .. type stuff ...

I'm probably missing something really obvious ...

thanks

John

Look in your LANGUAGE files..../includes/languages/english.php and other files in the subdirectory of english/

This is where MOST of the displayed text is stored.

/english/index.php - has the window title
/english/mainpage.php - is the main opening page that has what your looking for - This is editable with the online WYSIWYG contribution that is included with MS2-MAX.

Good Luck

I wrote a nice manual on this, you may have heard of it - the OSCdox Guide. There is a neato How-to section that has a lot of good info. The changes you are asking about are covered in the Text Changes section:
