Installation failure

I've successfully installed OSC2.2 before and I've recently heard about MS2-Max. I trying to install the latest MS2-Max, but I'm getting an error message on step 6 of the install. The message is displayed below"

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

The error message returned is:

Table '"exampledatabase".configuration' doesn't exist

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

Do I have to manually add that configuration table? Or are the oscommerce.sql and ms2-max.sql conflicting with each other trying to create the same tables?

SOLVED:
I went in aand deleted all the tables in my database. Loaded ms2max2.sql into database manually. Just in case someone has a similar problem, load the sql file first, then do the browser install.

Now, to fix the admin "no"login problem.

There is a problem with your configuration..... Database does not exist, MySQLuser/password is invalid or MySQL user name does not have proper permissions.

Verify the SQL user name/Password/db name. Try again.
