| Your MySQL serve has too many connections and you were unable to connect. Check to make sure you are not on an overloaded server, or that MySQL is configured properly. You may need to restart MySQL

| I know this is late but I costantly get this error when traffic starts to get heavy. Mysql is on a different server than apache and php. Would it be better to do an install of mysql on the same server as the apache or would this just make it worse? I have a feeling i am sharing the mysql server with other users. Actually I know I am because the first time i logged on that server with MysqlCC I seen about 50 other databases on the same server. Does anyone have any insight to this, Would it be better to put a local mysql install on my dedicated server? |

| If you mysql server is shared, it is overloaded or not optimized. If you site is not that large, mysql on the same machine is faster than on a remote server. You may want to look at getting a dedicated or at least contact your host and ask them to optimize the mysql server or check for resource hogs...

| The storing sessions in MySQL make a difference in this type of situation? |

| No, it is a server level overload. It has nothing to do with the osC application.
