Default admin@localhost doesn't work???

hello

I don't know what i'm doing wrong, but when I try to access the admin, I can't get in it with the default admin and password:

admin is 'admin@localhost' with the password 'admin'

after a brand new installation, or am I wrong????

Think I could use some help.....
