I've tried to install this on my OSCMax 1.7 and have hit one issue that I am not sure how to fix. I've spoken to Paypal Tech Support and they helpfully suggested I go back to OSCommerce as they were not familiar with OSCommerce contributions. I can't find the answer to my problem here with a forum search so here goes: I've managed to edit all the files manually except one. I do not know where to place the PayPal edits in the file catalog/create_account.php I can't just use the PayPal supplied file because it isn't the same. Can someone show me where to put those edits in to make this contribution work? Any help would be greatly appreciated Kristina

Do you mean this file: PHP Code: Is there a reason why your still on 1.7? There is many bug fixes and improvements.

The reason I'm on 1.7 and not 2.0 is that I have no idea how to upgrade and no way of setting up a test shop at home so I've left it because it works. However if there was an idiots guide to upgrading I'd consider it. Same reason I've not added in another Mod i want (Wish List) because I don't want to break a working store. If that's the file catalog/create_account.php it's the same one I guess, I haven't modified the 1.7 version Kristina

Agree - if it ain't broke then why fix it.... Yes you could setup a test shop at home - on any PC using a WAMP/LAMP/MAMP (Windows/Lunux/Mac) package. (EasyPHP, WAMPserver, WOS Portable - see a complete break down at Wikipedia : Comparison of WAMPs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) For Windows - I recommend EasyPHP - is very small download, easy install, has a SIMPLE on/off feature and ONLY a 30 Second install (takes longer to download - even on high speed connection) - and then use the interface it has to change php.ini to registered_globals=on and long_arrays=on. Copy your files to the WWW directory and edit them like any other file like in Windows. In your browser type in "localhost" and you have a live php webpage. (no need for a default webpage in WWW - as EasyPHP generates a directory menu for you).
