Default Integrating a Photo Gallery - Coppermine Perhaps?

Well, we are a real store, and we do real things. So I want to put up a photo gallery everyone can post their pictures in from our kite festivals, events, and whatnot. I run another site based on PHPnuke and I use Gallery v.2 that integrates into the site. I found this site that seems to have integrated Coppermine . Could anyone give me some tips on how to integrate this?

I have never done major template modifications before so this will be a learning experience for me.

-Add a link to one of my info boxes .... well documented in the wiki, no big deal

-Add a static page (I think) ... well documented in the wiki, no big deal

-For adding pictures, use the people's logins out of database .... this will take some work

-Keep the album completely inside the current template, so you keep the same look and feel to the site

-Modify an album template so it uses your sitewide CSS ??

Let me know where I should start. I'm kind of overwhelmed, but realize this will be a great project. If this goes well, I'm sure many other people would like to do something similar.

Thanks.

WELL I WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN ANSWER FOR THIS QUESTION, I MANAGE TO INTEGRATE COPPERMINE INTO OSCOMMERCE EASILY WHEN IT COMES TO THE GRAPHICS , BUT I WOULD LIKE FOR USERS TO BE RECOGNIZE AND LOGGED IN COPPERMINE WHEN THEY LOG IN OSCOMMERCE. IN OTHER WORDS A BRIDGE.... DIDN'T FIND THAT NOWHERE ON THE NET AND I REALLY NEED IT

This seems to have gone. Shame, it was nice and easy to install and I seem to have lost my install files.
