Please could somebody advise how it it is possible to configure the default settings when adding new stock items.
Specifically:
Tax class in admin - categories - set to VAT by default
Tax class in admin - categories - set to products weight 1.00 by default.

Every single item I add to my shop has the same setting so for convenience sake it would be a real help if the settings were pre-set to the above.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
