xShop-Max Question

I know this has been in the works since 2004 but the quesiton i have is will it be released even as a open beta or has it died off the table or is it going to be sold. This system (accourding to what i read on it) would save me time and energy. Would love to know exactly what happened, happening, or going to happen to xshop

Hi,

Yes this is still in the works! I think we were premature with our first beta. It really was alpha code. Chalk it up to inexperience with public software delvelopment.

We have been working very hard to get xShop up to speed over the last year, and it is looking really good, though not yet production (or beta) ready. There are still a few key things that are not working right.

xShop is simply growing up a bit before we release another beta. It was simply missing too many needed features for real beta testing (although our initial beta group did a fantastic job in pointing out the problems) Unlike certain major software companies, we want it to work right before we release it...

As soon as something is available, there will be an announcement for sure.
