Default download product setup

I can't seem to figure out why I don't see the download option when I am in the product attributes page. I am using oscmax. do i need to do anything to the configure.php file? I checked and the forward slashes are where they should be. I have added the product that I want to be downloaded, but don't see the option for "download". Please help.

JoAn,

stock MAX 1.5.5 has a product attrituble of "Version" with a value of "Download = Windows" ... that was in there to help guide you on how to set up for a download type product...

you probably need to create a product attribute called "Download" and create the values that you need for it

I think I do remember that there were some attributes already preset when installed, but I deleted them. Do you know how I could try to re-setup the download attrib?

Thanks!
