Easy populate duplicating product when making changes

Hello

Any help would be appreciated, I have read nearly all the forums trying to find a solution to my EP problems. I am using the current oscmax.

1. I Download my EP file and change for example product 1 from category 1 to category 2 , then upload it. It is saying it has updated it but I now have 2 products, the old category 1 and 2. How do I delete the old product from category 1. I have around 400 products I wish to split into new categories and I really don't want to delete by hand. If I deleted them in the database first how would I do this as my knowledge on mysql phpadm is limited (but quite capable of learning). Any help would be appreciated.

2. I have disabled Mo Pics (Set to false for thumb use) for ease of use, however I would like to have separate categories in the main images folder. EP accepts this but I am unable to enlarge the image, all I get is the dreaded x.

3. If I enable Mo pics I have a problem with not being able to upload images through admin only EP. I also cannot insert an image using the image manager for the product the image manager comes up blank. I have tried several suggestions on the forums but I am at a loss how to correct this that is why I disabled the Mo Pics.

Hello,

I am also having the issue of my products duplicating or my products attribute showing up twice. I am also having the issue of categories that have been deleted will pop up again when I easy populate my items.

If anyone can help? It would be greatly appreciated.
