Product Attribute Problem

Need a little help from the Group.

Having difficulty getting a product attribute that is listed in the easypopulate database to show up. I have the following entries in the easypopulate database:

v_attribute_options_id_1 = 1
v_attribute_options_name_1_1 = Size
v_attribute_values_id_1_1 = various values depending on the particular item

I would expect to see the word "Size" followed by the value in the database for that product to show up when I view that product in the catalog, but nothing shows up.

I can set an attribute name "Size" in the Admin/catalog/products attributes with a manually entered value for each product, but that is a real chore for a large number of products.

Is there a way to get easypopulate to show fixed attributes?

If so, what do I need to do to get this working?
