Does anyone knoe if I have to set Payment Data Transfer to on? Will it cause harm?

I'm having problems where orders are going to PayPal, getting the money etc, and PayPal's emails have all the correct gubbins in them, but OsCommerce MAX 1.7's are blank for all customer fields?

Any ideas?
