Fedex1.php Mod & Free shipping? Anyone have it?

Looking for a way to allow free shipping on certain items in my store when the Fedex1.php mod is installed. Right now I set the weight to 0 for the item, but it still quotes a Fedex charge. How do I get it to give free shipping on specific items with weight of 0?
