Default EasyPopulate 2.72

When i run EasyPopulate 2.72 to have it create a complete tab delited file so i can then download it and work with it i get this error. This is on a fresh install of MAX 1.7

Quote:
Warning: fopen(/home/velond5/public_html/catalog//temp/EP2004Oct28-1212.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/velond5/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 590

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/velond5/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 591

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/velond5/public_html/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 592
You can get your file in the Tools/Files under /temp/EPEP2004Oct28-1212.txt
I can use easy populate to download the complete tab delimited file it downloads just fine but because it is not created per say it is an empty file.

Help please.

Default Solution

LOL, the solution is very simple to the above problem. What needed to happen is to setup a "temp" directory strait under the "catalog" folder and then give it 777 rights on your server. And then bomm easypopulate works like a dream !!!!

I've gotten that error once. I never figured it out, but never got it again.

catalog//temp

Note the two slashes. There's the error. Question is why is it there?
