Default Text limit while adding T&C stuff to conditions.php

Is it a "feature" that OSC MS2 MAX 1.5.5 limits the amount text displayable to about 1137 characters when editing in the conditions.php ??

Whenever I tried to put in a verbose text on store conditions, the result in the shopping cart was an empty page with just the capitalized field names.

Is there a suggested way to fix this or a workaround?

I anticipate the other customizable pages are likewise limited.

There should be no limit - 1137 is not very much. However if you used a "basic" word processor to edit your text - it may have added a space or line (or other garbage) at the top or bottom of the file (before the first "<?php" or after the last "?>")

Or possably you did not escape a charater that could be called as a tag... like ' --"MS2-MAX\'s contributions...." would print "MS2-MAX's contributions...." where as without the \ it would muck up and might only show "MS2-MAX" EOF.

Good Luck

It was edited in Notepad after learning OpenOffice did strange things.

Problem solved thanks to you. The problem was an apostrophe that needed the escape.
