Infobox Admin missing - can I install?

I spent a few hours looking for answers last night and as a last resort I'm posting this question. Sorry for the noob post.

I need to remove the affiliate program from my MS2-MAX install and everyone keeps saying to remove it with Infobox Admin. I've searched everywhere for this in the admin menus and have come to the conclusion it's not there, for whatever reason. I don't mind installing it myself. I notice michael_s posts about the latest Infobox Admin releases. Such as:

Can I download that contribution and install it on MS2-MAX or do I need a special version of it? My shop is running pretty nicely now and I don't want to screw anything up.

You are using an old version of osCMax that does not have that feature. Only osCMax 2.0x has the infobox admin. If you are using older versions of osCMax, you have to do it manually.

Edit column_left.php and column_right.php and manually comment out the boxes that you want to turn off.

That did it, thanks much. I didn't realize I had an old version. I'll have to look into upgrading.
