If you had the base OSC install with Basic Template System and Shoppe Enhancement Controller merged together http://www.webmakers.com, add XSell, Easy Populate, Must agree to terms, and Custom Computer Creator, then you would have a system that is close to filling anyones needs generically.

Lind's package has many great features for the listing of products and variables for a store, but BTS would make the templating and graphics easier and less time spent overall.

Adding some more features that SEC has included would be good, especially with attributes but there also are some smaller things which are more practical and important like;

1. Quantity Box

- Add to product listings page (not product info page) so that customer can choose the amount of items when selecting add to cart. SEC has that included and thats what i mean how to be.

2. Dhtml-coolmenu menu system

- Can choose either default, Dhtml, or Coolmenu from admin.


3. Must Agree to Terms

- Must select agree checkbox or look at the terms page via link to make it be ticked and then can go through the final part of checkout.


Another item which i am not sure that there is a contribution for would be the streamlining of the checkout pages itself as the amount of pages having to go through does mean the % rate of customers stopping before the final page is higher due to this. This is one of the only drawbacks of OSC and something that changed that would be a big bonus.

Sorry, couldnt put links to contibutions as the osc site is giving "unavailable to connect to database" again so cannot even get anywhere there at present.

I tried the Mopic installed within the OSCMAX and think it's "harder" to use and have some points less than this contribution:
1-This one will let you choose an image for the thumbs and another for the "popup image"
2-No need to rename _pic1 _big etc. simply control it from the image panel of the article
3-I tested and have it installed inside my OSCMAX , i simply removed the MOPICS contribution and installed this one and there is no conflict with the other modules

I hope you will consider replacing mopic mod with this one.
I only had "problems" with this mod when using lynda attribute sorter and copier, so if you plan to implement that remember as always to BACKUP BACKUP and BACKUP again!!

If you wish I can also prepare fo MS2-MAX the PDF DataSheet Maker contrib (as I did for the concorrence). I can upload it here or wherever you wish (except at the osCommerce site).

Soon I will have XML2PDF DataSheet Maker and XML2PDF Catalog Builder. If you want I will warn you when it's done and ready for download.

For the BankTransfer anyone can grab it and drop it in their instalation. Admin configurable.

For the PDF DataSheet Maker... Tomorrow or after tomorrow I will uploaded it

The XML2PDF will take a few more time since I'm studying well fPDF to do it right. Hope I can have it for your next 1.8 version
