Hi, maybe the problem is this: this post is for MS2-MAX v1.0

If you are using any other version like the current v1.5.5, it will not work, since there are significant database differences between v1.0 and v1.5.5. Check the date of the original post.... OLD OLD OLD...

Arghhh, pesky different versions of stuff.
Oh well, does anyone know how to do the same thing but with 1.5.5?

Sure, you will need a little program called mysqldiff.

What it does is compare your existing database to the ms2-max v1.5.5 database, and generates a set of instructions that will update the existing database structure to match the MS2-MAX format.

Of course, you will need command line (ssh or telnet) access to your server in order to use this software. That is how the upgrade instructions in this post were generated, just using the ms2-max v1.0 database in the comparison.

Cheers, that's it pretty much sorted now. I've got to more little problems, but I'll save them for another post.
