Default Which version of Easy Populate to use?

Google Base has stopped accepting my uploaded file due to the format of the 2.72 V of EasyPopulate I'm using. I prefer to use this instead of a feeder, but I'm at a complete loss for which version to upgrade to. I notice on the EP that's installed in 1.7MAX, it says MS2-MAX (or something close) at the top of the page when you select EP. I'm guessing something special was done to make it work with MAX?

When I go to oscommerce.com and try and look at the contributions, it's beyond my ability to pick the right one as it's 100's of contributions on that one topic. There's so much crap on the contribution pages, all the way up to V3.0 and then other notes saying "Please don't use 3.0". There are so many versions and most of them have notes stating some issue with them.

So, any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Which version to use? Will those versions work with 1.7MAX?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my business has dropped quite a bit since it was dropped from google base.

Nothing too special was done, but a couple of bugs that were present in the non-oscmax version were fixed in osCMax. That is the only difference. I think later versions of EP already fix those issues as well. You should be fin updating to the latest version.
