| I have a OScMax 1.7 site with lots of extra tweaks / mods running at http://www.outdoorbits.com All works fine but every now and then i get an issue where clicking on any links has no effect, i.e. the user isnt sent to the link they clicked on, There is just a very long, long delay and eventually the site goes there, but this is so long that many users simply close down their browsers. Any ideas as i am potentially losing a lot of business because of it ? |

| Hi fuzioneer I see there's been no reply to this yet, so here's a suggestion... Is your store/database on a shared server? If so, at random (or peak) times could the server just be having to cope with excessive demand? I've experienced something similar on a few occasions with another site, but it was never enough to establish a pattern. If this is likely, and you're losing business as a result, it might be time to reconsider your hosting setup. Perhaps someone else could confirm this as a possibility? Good luck! |
