border around images and subcategories

Hi,
How can i add borders to all product images and to subcategories?
I tried this contribution with no succes.

if anyone is interested, i added a stylesheet entry: .imageborder {border: #666666 1px solid;}
and then added after IMAGE_HEIGHT, class="imageborder"
only drawback is that you have to add this on all pages using images.
