 testing site setup, need all in one package that will..... Testing site setup, need all in one package that will in stall Apache, mysql, php, and phpmyadmin. I know there was a package like inferno; but is no longer available. Is there another package available like this? Thanks     |

There is tons out there - ther called LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) OR MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Some WAMPS - Popular: EasyPHP Apache2Triad wampserver.com AppServ PHPTriad for Windows WinServ Other - I have not tried/looked into: FoxServ The Uniform Server - www.uniformserver.com TSW [The Saint WAMP] Aweris WebServer Easy Web Server Reactor Server IBserver And many more...... Each "package" include slighly differnet version and some package some other tools (most also have phpmyadmin) I use EasyPHP lately - it has a toolbar icon that alow you to turn on/off/restart/edit configs etc... also setup a basic WAMP admin and a localhost home page that any directory that is plopped there can opened etc... Quick easy 30 sec install ... takes longer to download.....
