Paypal Problem - What is wrong

Hi,

I am trying to setup Paypal with oscMax V1.7 and currently facing some problem.

1. I do not see the order in OSC
2. Get 2 emails from mysel to myself
1st email says
Subject Line - PayPal IPN: Unknown Verfication
Body Text -

Connection Type
------------------------------------------------------
curl= 1, socket= , domain= www.paypal.com, port=

PayPal Response
------------------------------------------------------





PayPal - Welcome

2nd email says
Subject line - BengaliCDDVD.com Connection Type

An unknown transaction () occurred from 216.113.188.202
Are you running any tests?

Setting at Paypal Profile

Please help me to resolve the issue.

I have made some progress. Changed the IP url in Paypal profile to ipn.php and turned Auto Return off. Now I can see the IPN and order is geting recorded in the database. However after the payment is made at paypal site customer is send back to checkout_payment.php instead of checkout_success.php.

Please help me.

I am having the exact problem.
Here is my setup.
Paypal IPN URL: http://www.mydomain.com/catalog/ipn.php
Paypal Auto-Return URL: http://www.mydomain.com/catalog/checkout_success.php

and for some reason the user gets redirrected to checkout_payment.php. The paypal IPN does post correctly, but how do I get the user to see a page that looks like the order was successful???

I don't know how to fix that either..

I'm also confused as to whether to leave auto return on or not. Currently I have it set to off and have gone over to paypal, checked the box under seller preferences, Instant Payment Notifications and entered the ipn.php url in there but sometimes I don't get a notification in oscmax admin (assuming that the customer doesnt click continue to retunr to store?) and also get tons of emails about ipn full of stuff like above and ipn debug, etc.

I'm not sure what paypal module to use anymore. I'm currently using the one that comes with 1.7. I read the Paypal IPN wiki page mentioned and am just as confused as to what the correct settings should be. I'm only sorry I'm not skilled enough myself to help
