2.5% fee added for american express or diners

Looking to have a 2.5% fee added for american express or diners.

Anyone know how to do this

is this a hidden fee or a fee taht WILL be shown on the invoice?

Customers will be informed that payments using AMEX or Diners will icur an extra 2.5% fee.
This surcharge will be shown in the checkout process & shown on the invoice.

There was a law passed around 20 years ago that made doing this illegal. I don't believe it was ever repelled but I haven't heard anything about it in a long time. I don't know if that would ever even come up, but it could. You might want to call the FTC or the like on this to cover yourself.

Yes, I have heard it is not allowed in USA or Europe.
However in Australia under our contract we can.
They allow us to charge customers, but no more than what
they charge us.
