color/ gradient behind store..

how do i get a color or gradient behind my store.. I really dont care if its just a plain color or what it just looks to white..

You'll find what you need in the style sheet for the aabox template, which you've used.
Take your time to wade through all the styles and you'll find the references to the background images and everything else you can change to customise your site. Be aware though, that some changes you make may have unexpected consequences, as other site components may be referencing the same settings.
