MultiStores with osCmax

Has anyone attempted to install the MultiStores Contrib with osCmax. We need to have the MultiStore capablitiy for one of our clients, and would really like to give them some of the functionality provided by osCmax, but I'm way to chicken to start merging those files. You could get lost in there for a year and not make any progress.

Also has anyone installed QBI with osCmax. I haven't tried yet, and I'm sure that it will be an easy install. I just wanted to know if there were any problems with these two playing together.
