Subtracting from Inventory - mixed store

Hi! I'm new, so forgive me if this is a RTFM question, but I couldn't find it there or in the manual.

I know there's an option to NOT subtract the purchase from inventory and if I was running straight download store, I'd just use that, but I will have a mix of downloadable and tangible products. I hope.

Is there an option that I don't need to worry about stock for downloadables? Or should I just put in a huge number like 1,000,000 and hope I (don't?) reach that some day?

IF product is Always in stock!

Or can be had quickly, then in admin-Stock-

Check:
Stock Levels=FALSE and Subtract Stock = FALSE

Done!

That's fine if ALL of my products are like that. But what if some are downloadable and always in stock, and others are real, and have limited inventory?
