Gift Voucher Questions

Dear Administrator,

I have set up a store based on OsCMAx v1.7. I have to give away gift vouchers to my customers. On their way to check out though they have more credit in the their gift voucher the system is asking them to select a method of payment on the payment page. For ex if customer A has 100$ worth of credit and his order total is $50, it is still asking them to select a method of payment. Please tell me how to fix it so that if the gift voucher account has more money than their shopping cart total the system does not ask for payment option.

They must purchase atleast the amount of the voucher or more in order to use the coupon. The WHOLE mod would require a rewrite in order to use less than the amount and to keep tract of the "balance" - or cancel the balance.

If there is a problem with giving a LARGE first voucher -then maybe a simple mod/rewrite you could give them more than ONE vocher - say 4-$25 vouchers (instead of ONE $100 voucher) - but each would have to used on purchase that total more than $25 each.


MOST website owners want to make a few dollars - so that is why the purchase normally have to be more than the vouchers are.

I see alot of coupons/vouchers (online and paper based) that give you say $20 dollars off (your next purchase of $40 or more)... Thus if you buy a $10/20/39.95 worth of item(s) - you can't use the coupon/voucher.....
