Image Problems

Problem: I am currently running 1.5.5. Dynamic mopics used to work fine. It still does for the products that already have the images added; however, when I try to add a new product (it's been quite a while), when I type "thumbs/image.jpg" and attempt to click the "preview" button however the preview button refuses to be clickable thus the only way for me to add an image is to use the "browse" button. The problem with that is that when the user clicks the image for a larger image, the popup doesn't contain anything but the background color -- no images -- no broken images-- nothing.

I've tried installing max 1.7 on my server and add images using mopics as I used to do and 1.7 too has the same problems.

What I've read: I've seen that people have had problems with dynamic mopics in relation to the the latest versions of php and that version 3 came out but so far it doesn't appear to have been included with oscmax 1.7, so I am uncertain what to do.

Questions: 1. Is this in fact the same problem related to the PHP version? 2. When will mopics version 3 be included with OSCMAX? 3. What is the best way to handle the problem in the interim?

Mopics 3 will be in the next version release of osCMax. It will not be in v1.7. You can install v3 to osCMax pretty easily. Download and give it a shot. It works much better than the old version.

Yes, you are suffering from the php/mopics problem that everyone else has had.
