Default Can you add html tags for font to the product description

Besides the HTML listed <br> etc. in the documentation...can you call other html tags for your product description box.

    something like this:

    <font face="Numus Moneta">This is an example
    </font>

Thanks for any suggestions ... or just letting me know it cannot be done.

    Thanks,

you really can't hurt anything by trying it out. i know for a fact that the bold tag and also the <br> tags will work fine. just test in a few browsers to make sure. good luck.

I actually did try thinking that it would work with the product description mod that is standard with OscMAx .. but either I need to code it differently or I need to include somewhere other than I am .... I was hoping there was a way to assign CSS codes to certain fields .. but I need to poke around a little more.

    Thanks for the reply.

Pretty much all html will work. The problem you are having may be that your font is being overridden by the styles that are already defined. You should either use the stlyes in the stylesheet, or define new styles and call them in your code...

    Thanks msasek...

What I am concerned about is that I wanted the CSS style to apply to only a certain new product description.

This was my thought (and maybe I'm just missing it all together).. if I create a new DB field called OLEG ... and I want that always to have a CSS style applied... I can create a new CSS class.. but how do I marry that to that one field and not all of the product description ... I'm thinking that it can't be done because I am trying to mix a dynamic page with a CSS style that does not uniformly apply to the whole page.

    This was my visual

    Box with the Image

    Product # A-1000
    Product Description: Ancient Coin
OLEG: text of the legend rendered in Numus Moneta Font
    ODESC: Text

(OLEG & ODESC would be the new fields)

If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it, even if it is the can’t do it direction LOL
