Question about Product Details and Fonts/html

Okay, so it will probably be apparent that I am a newbie .. I am using OscMax 1.7

I have searched the forums and read the documentation and I think I’m simply missing something … either it can’t be done .. or I need to reread something (please point me in the right direction if that is the case).

I would like to remove some “standard” product attributes (descriptions ? not sure if that is the right word)… and I see how to disable that in the admin section for the default values ( the almighty 0). But I would like to add others that are not required, and are only for certain products. (I am opening a coin shop).

What I would like to add is the following fields

Obv Legend
Rev Legend
Mint Mark

And I would like to change the font for those three fields to a different font and am wondering if that is a special CSS class? Or some other way to control it?. (If I could add html code I can handle calling the correct font, just don’t see how to do that, and store it I the database).

Now with easy populate I think when you add a new product field it inserts it automatically in the database ?? (seems that is what the forums are saying), so I should be able to specify what new fields I want and it will populate the database…. Will it also show those fields in the admin window?

Not sure what you are really trying to do here, but you could simply add the information to the product description without having to bother with any database stuff.

Am I right in assuming that those values do not change for a specific product? If so, when you create your product description, just include each of those values in the html.
