| Hi All, This is driving me NUTS! I have set up 2 sites on different servers. As far as I can see the admin settigs are the same but on one site, in the catagories setup, I set the image to thumbs/thispic.gif and it works OK. On the other site, catagory setup strips out the leading thumbs/ and wants to have every image in the images folder. I know I can set the MoPics extension to _pic and _big and stuff everyting into one folder, I just can't see why I have to. There MUST BE an admin setting I'm missing on the second site, but I just can't see it. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? mopix settings Big dir...............................images_big/ thumb dir..........................thumbs/ Main thumb in thumb dir.....True Pics/row............................4 Both MoPics extensions.......blank Thumb type.......................GIF Big Image type..................JPG Thanks again for all of your help, Derek |

| Are you running the same version on both sites? This was an issue with many people, including me but I don't think there was a solution and I don't recall which version was having the problem. If you have the same exact store on both sites with the same configuration, maybe it is the server settings. I ended up uploading the images directly and editing the database to add the directory or just used Easy Populate, though it is a pain when you just want to add a product directly. |

| Thanks bleu, I'm using the same version for both, I uploaded from the same folder on my machine to both sites. The site I'm having problems with acts strange some times and I don't administer it. So I made a copy on a site under my direct control, and that works fine. So as you say, it could well be a server-side problem. Thanks again, (but if anyone else has an idea I'd appreciate it.) | sounds like the well documented PHP version issue. 4.3.8 and above has the issue. Look in the wiki for the way to setup mopics to work. |
