Manufacturer URLs

Links to the manufacturer in the manufacturer infobox are not working for me.

The manufacturer urls are not making it into the database. The url should be put into the manufacturer_info table & I have put urls in for every manufacturer I have defined, but the manufacturer_info table has zero records....


Is there a fix available for this?

It works fine. You need to actually add the manufacturers in the admin under

Catalog Manufacturers

That is exacly where I added the manufacturers & their urls, yet the manufacturer_info table in the db is empty & I get no link on the manufacturers image.

The link is not on the image. It will be under the image. See the screenshot.

The image is above the link.

The home page link is clickable as is the Other Products link.

In the admin, the url needs to be http://somesite.com

If it really is not working, then you have done something in editing or installation that broke it. I just tested it on v1.5.5 and v1.7 and both work fine by default.
