Modules payment shipping or others will not install

Hello yall,

Has anyone else had this problem? I cannot get the payment modules to install.

When I am on the payment modules section of my store in the admin section, lets say the payment modules section. All of my payment modules have the green install button on the right as if the module is not installed. I know it is installed because people are checking out of my store as usual.

The only reason I noticed this was because i had to change a payment module to offline credit card processing because errors where hapening with authorize.net and I went in to change the module and noticed that all the modules look like they are uninstalled.

I clicked on the green install button and the page just refreshes. Now if I need to go in and say change something in the authorize.net module I cannoty becuase the options do not show up at all, all I can see is the green button that you are supposed to press to activate the module.

There are no errors when I press the green install button and customers seem to be having no trouble using my store for now.

This just worrys me because If I need to reconfigure the payment shipping or other modules I cannot do it.

Any I deas as to what may be going on here? I searched the forums but found nothing.

Double check your permissions and make sure that they are set correctly ... it sounds to me like a permissions error (CMOD needs fixing).
