    Default moneybookers and max1.5.5

Just did a comparison of paypal and moneybookers.com. A BIG difference in rates only 2% for all transactions for merchants, free to cusomers.

    30% cashback on referrals.
    regulated by the FSA.

Absolutely no chargebacks, once you are paid, they never claw it back (unlike Paypal)

International (most currencies including USD EURO and GBP).

The only drawback I can see is a 1.8 Euro fee for withdrawal, but hey, if they dont freeze your account or put chargebacks on it, I am happy to transfer funds only once or twice per month.

Now, there is a moneybookers mod in osc contribs, and i have tried it on my MAX 1.5.5, but it broke the checkout procedure, and I cannot work out how to fix it. I think it is something pretty simple, but when i get to checkout I get an unexpected something or other in line 136 of includes/order.php. Had a look at that line and it happened to be part of the paypal ipn module. I think I still need to offer Paypal, as it is well known, but would prefer to use Moneybookers.

Has anyone integrated moneybookers into their max 1.5.5 yet? If you have can you let me know how to mod the osc contribution to get it work alongside paypal ipn, or with fantastic rates like that, can anyone just upgrade the existing Moneybookers contrib (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/...h,moneybookers)
    to work with max.

Sorry this was so long, but it seems a shame to not be able to utilise a pukka transaction processor like this...
    Cheers
    Kim

that's awesome. 2%!?!?! That's it. That's better than everything that I've seen. I was about to go with authorize.net/farmer's and merchant's bank

Go for it! I know YOU can code, so let me know how you get on with the integration. Or anyone else out there already done it for MAX1.5.5?

Checked this out further and find that Moneybookers sign up service is a pain and slow. Nochex (for I am a UK girl) have improved their service so that customers can pay without opening an account (just like Paypal USA). It has proven to have reduced dropped carts from people that were unable to use Paypal (aol etc) and it is nice to be anle to offer both. They also do an equivalent to ipn called APC and I am using it on the site, but seem to have lost the ability for it to update the site.
Any suggestions - test is ok, but live...no transactions so I have to keep checking the Nochex site...has also happened to Paypal now.
