Free Downloads for specific people

Hi,

I am in the process of changing from zen cart to ms max 1.7. I have a couple of things I still need to iron out before going live.

Each designer in our store is currently allowed to download any product we offer (unless another designer has opted out) for free. We do this by issuing a coupon worth 100% and using the zen cart free charge card written by Ajeh of oscommerce fame when checking out.

How can I do the same thing with ms max?

you can change the status of the individuals to wholesale (or whatever you want to call it) and allow that group only to download for free, only that group will see the 0.00 price for download. Once you have input the 'wholesale' price for the download and changed the group status of each individual your job is done. Do it all from the admin side.
